This year's LBC annual picnic will be held at Lititz Springs Park at the Bortz Pavilion on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

The picnic is open only to Members and family within your household or Single Members with one guest.

LBC’s 1st Chili Cook-Off

Judging at 12:30 pm

$1.00/per person for tastings...cash only

Judging will be made by LBC members and their families

Proceeds will go to the top winner!

 

Lunch will be at approximately 1:00 p.m.  LBC will be providing the hamburgers (beef and veggie),
hot dogs, teriyaki chicken and BBQ pulled mushroom burger (vegan). 


Thanks to Thomas Hodges for offering to be the Grillin’ Huckleberry. 

Everyone who attends is asked to bring a side dish by using the Signup Genius button: SignUpGenius

You can also bring lawn games or other activities.  Relax and have a great time with friends. 

 

All Cooks will be wearing gloves and using separate utensils for serving -- this is not self-serve (except for desserts that are individually wrapped).  
Shredded cheese, onion, tomatoes, peppers, jalapenos, and sour cream will be in individualized containers – just grab and go.

BICYLCE SWAP MEET:  Bring bicycle(s), parts, accessories and/or clothing and set yourself up (at a designated spot) for a swap meet. 


SCHEDULED RIDES: TBD; Upcoming sign up to lead rides on LBC's Meet-up.  Expect the rides to begin as early as 8:00/9:00 a.m. to/from Lititz Springs Park.

REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: $10 per person.  The refundable deposit will be charged for no shows who do not cancel by noon on September 22, 2021.

Adopt a Highway

The Adopt-a-Highway program was started back in 1992 by Harry Campbell [deceased] as a way for our club to give back to Lancaster County. We are expected to clean up Columbia Ave. from Donnerville Rd. to Rohrerstown Rd. 3 times a year. PA DOT supplies us with gloves, reflective vests & trash bags.

 Ice Cream Lovers Ride

As featured in Bicycling Magazines best ride for PA. On this 40-mile route, you can find killer ice cream at Bird-in-Hand Bakery (12 miles), Lapp Valley Farm (23 miles), and Oregon Dairy (36 miles), where scoops are sized calf, heifer, or cow.
